About the Role

Visilant is seeking a Program Manager based in India to support and expand implementation of our telemedicine and AI services across hospitals, NGOs, and government programs. This role is ideal for someone who understands the complexity of hospital systems and community-based eye care, can build trusted relationships with stakeholders, and is motivated by impact. You’ll work with product, engineering, and AI teams to bring the voice of the field into our roadmap, help scale to new regions, and make sure our tools are delivering real-world impact for patients.

Start Date: Flexbile; now through December 2025
Compensation: 22-28 lakh INR, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Visilant and partner hospitals, NGOs, and state health systems across India

  • Lead implementation of our screening platform at new and existing clinical sites (train staff, support onboarding, and troubleshoot adoption challenges)

  • Build and manage strong relationships with local eye health champions, hospital leadership, and government officials

  • Coordinate site-level activities, gather user feedback, and surface insights to technical teams for ongoing improvement

  • Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities (NGOs, hospitals, state programs) to expand our reach

  • Monitor program performance across sites: screen volumes, clinical workflows, patient follow-up, and quality

  • Support grant reporting and site documentation through structured write-ups, data summaries, and field stories

  • Travel to partner sites (approx. 25% of the time) to provide hands-on support, training, and relationship-building

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, hospital partnerships, or implementation support in healthcare or public health

  • Strong working knowledge of the Indian health system, especially in ophthalmology, primary healthcare, or NGO partnerships

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluency in English and Hindi or another regional language; comfort working across cultures and languages

  • Interest in enabling access to healthcare for underserved populations.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing connections in the Indian ophthalmology ecosystem (e.g., eye hospitals, NGOs, government health departments)

  • Background in public health, hospital administration, or ophthalmology

  • Experience implementing digital health tools or working closely with technical teams

  • Experience supporting government engagement or contributing to public health strategy at the state level

  • Strong writing skills for documentation, donor reporting, or policy briefs
