Technical Product Manager

About the Role

We’re seeking a Technical Product Manager who can seamlessly blend strategic product thinking with hands-on project execution to drive the development of our telemedicine and AI platform for eye care. In this cross-functional role, you’ll manage the full product lifecycle from roadmap and sprint planning to implementation, QA, documentation, and deployment. You’ll work directly with clinical teams, field partners, engineers, and AI researchers to deliver high-impact features that improve healthcare access for underserved communities.

This role is ideal for someone who is as comfortable managing Jira boards as they are drafting technical documentation, coordinating compliance checklists, and engaging directly with clinical partners and end users to ensure the product truly meets clinical and operational needs. Compensation: 25-30 lakh INR, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for our telemedicine platform, including roadmap creation, feature prioritization, delivery, and QA

  • Translate needs from clinical users, partners, and field teams into product specs and engineering tasks

  • Balance competing priorities and stakeholder feedback to ensure high-impact features are shipped on time

  • Manage sprint planning and facilitate collaboration across engineering, design, clinical, and AI teams

  • Work closely with field partners in India and the U.S. to gather feedback and iterate

  • Regularly complete security and compliance checklists and document evidence of adherence

  • Track product performance, bugs, and usage data to inform product roadmap

  • Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and help vet third-party integrations

  • Establish processes for rapid testing, deployment, and feedback cycles

  • Ensure platform scalability, reliability, safety, and compliance with relevant health data standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or technical program management

  • Experience managing software development cycles, including sprint planning and agile methodologies

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders

  • Technical fluency and comfort working with engineers to assess trade-offs in architecture, APIs, and data flows

  • Strong written communication skills, including a love for writing documentation, specifications, compliance summaries, and grant-ready technical content

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in remote and fast-moving environments

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Notion, GitHub, Google Drive, and Slack

  • Interest in enabling access to healthcare for underserved populations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthtech, AI-enabled tools, or healthcare, including technology commercialization

  • Background in computer science, biomedical engineering, or related field

  • Experience managing or collaborating with remote engineering teams across time zones

  • Passion for global health, social impact, or technology for underserved populations

  • Hands-on experience building and shipping mobile, web, or backend applications

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure)

  • Experience designing or overseeing scalable data architectures, especially in healthcare or telemedicine
